• She began in August
Princess Isabella began as a conscript with the Guard Hussar Regiment in August this year, after sitting her final school examinations in June.
She is among the first to serve eleven months of conscription. In June 2023 a broad majority in the Folketing agreed to extend Danish conscription from four to eleven months, and to make conscription equal between the sexes. The eleven months are divided into five months of basic training and six months of operational service.

Crown Prince Christian also served at the Guard Hussar barracks in Slagelse. Princess Isabella herself visited her brother there on 8 March 2025, during a similar visitors' day.
