As part of the annual summer cruise, King Frederik and Queen Mary welcomed invited guests aboard the royal yacht Dannebrog during a stop in the Port of Odense.

King Frederik X and Queen Mary held a reception for invited guests aboard the royal yacht Dannebrog while the ship was berthed in the Port of Odense. The event was part of the traditional summer cruise, during which the royal couple sail along the Danish coast each year, visiting towns and local communities.

From the deck, the royal couple waved to the public who had gathered on the quay to catch a glimpse of the royals and the distinctive ship.

The summer cruise is a long-standing tradition in the Danish royal house and gives the royal couple the opportunity to meet residents in different parts of the country during the summer months.

After the visit to Odense, the Dannebrog continued along the coast, with Norddjurs Municipality as the next stop on the cruise.
