Charlotte grew up with her brothers Andrea and Pierre, and later gained a younger half-sister, Princess Alexandra of Hanover. An accomplished equestrian, she has served as honorary president of the Monte-Carlo International Show Jumping since 2010. As a fashion icon she has followed in the footsteps of her grandmother, Princess Grace, and since January 2021 she has been an ambassador for Chanel.

Her milestone year has also brought a literary milestone: this year she published her first solo book, "La FĂȘlure", containing personal reflections and letters written to her father, who died in a boating accident on October 3, 1990, when Charlotte was just four years old. She previously co-authored the book "Archipelago of Passions" with philosopher Robert Maggiori.
