The Royal Family Hosts the Summer Reception at Marivent Palace

King Felipe and Queen Letizia were joined by Crown Princess Leonor, Infanta Sofía and Queen Sofía as nearly 600 guests were welcomed to the traditional summer reception in Palma de Mallorca.
On Tuesday 4 August, King Felipe and Queen Letizia hosted the traditional summer reception at Marivent Palace in Palma de Mallorca. They were joined by Crown Princess Leonor, Infanta Sofía and the King's mother, Queen Sofía, with nearly 600 guests from across Balearic society on the guest list.

The Marivent reception is one of the highlights of the royal family's annual summer stay in Mallorca, where representatives of the island's institutions, cultural life and business community meet the family in informal summer surroundings.

Queen Letizia also honoured her hosts with her choice of dress: the white summer dress is by designer Sybilla, who has lived in Mallorca for many years.
