Queen Mary Opens New Jewellery Exhibition at Gavnø Castle

Queen Mary attended the opening of a new jewellery exhibition at Gavnø Castle, featuring 33 spectacular head and hair ornaments created by some of Denmark's leading goldsmiths and jewellery designers.
Queen Mary of Denmark visited Gavnø Castle, where she attended the opening of a new jewellery exhibition. Baroness Helle Reedtz-Thott, director of the Gavnø Foundation, hosted the event.

The exhibition was created in collaboration with jewellery writer Nina Hald and goldsmith Bodil Binner. It features 33 spectacular head and hair ornaments, most of which were created especially for the exhibition by some of Denmark's leading goldsmiths and jewellery designers.

The exhibition opened to the public on 19 June and runs until 15 November 2026.
