On New Year's Eve 2025, the Danish royal family gathered at Amalienborg for the traditional New Year's banquet. King Frederik X and Queen Mary received the guests in magnificent surroundings, and the atmosphere was solemn and festive.
Queen Mary radiated in an elegant champagne-colored dress with lace details and wore one of the royal diadems. At her side stood King Frederik in gala uniform with order ribbon and medals.
