In the Australian capital Canberra, King Frederik and Queen Mary were officially welcomed on their state visit on Sunday. The official reception took place at Government House, where Governor-General Sam Mostyn received the royal couple.

In the Australian capital Canberra, King Frederik and Queen Mary were officially welcomed on their state visit on Sunday. The official reception took place at Government House, located in the large park of Yarralumla by Lake Burley Griffin.

Australia's Governor-General, Sam Mostyn, along with her spouse Simeon Beckett, received the royal couple. Upon arrival at Government House, the royal couple were also welcomed with a traditional smoking ceremony.
