New Storstrøm Bridge Named After Queen Margrethe
Queen Margrethe has agreed to have the new Storstrøm Bridge named after her. The bridge, which crosses the Storstrøm strait and connects Zealand and Falster via Masnedø, will become Denmark's third largest bridge.
Queen Margrethe has accepted having the new Storstrøm Bridge, which crosses the Storstrøm strait and connects Zealand and Falster via Masnedø, named after her. The bridge will thus bear the name Queen Margrethe II's Bridge.

With a length of approximately four kilometres and a height of 102 metres, Queen Margrethe II's Bridge will become Denmark's third largest bridge, after the Øresund Bridge and the Great Belt Bridge.

Together with the upcoming Fehmarn Belt Fixed Link, Queen Margrethe II's Bridge will form an important part of the railway corridor between Scandinavia and the rest of Europe.
