Norsk Dun was established in 1939 and produces duvets and pillows at its factory in Mysen in Indre Østfold. The company is one of few in Europe that still maintains full local production of down products, supplying both the Norwegian market and export.

As part of the visit, the Crown Prince had the opportunity to try his hand at the production process and make his own pillow, which was labelled with the Made in Norway origin mark. The origin mark was created to highlight products and services of Norwegian origin, on the initiative of Innovation Norway.
After the tour, Crown Prince Haakon met several Norwegian businesses that hold the Made in Norway origin mark. The Crown Prince Regent was presented with products and solutions from the companies Woodling, Rottefella, Muzziball, Jøtul and Paxster.
