King Frederik Receives 94 New Officers at Amalienborg

A total of 94 newly appointed first lieutenants from the Army Officer Academy were received by King Frederik in the Knights' Hall at Christian VII's Palace at Amalienborg on Tuesday.

The reception is a longstanding tradition in which the King personally congratulates the newly appointed officers and acknowledges their efforts as well as the responsibilities that await them in service.

During the reception, the King also presented the King's Sabre of Honour to First Lieutenant Frederik Malthe Friberg, who completed his training with an overall average of 12.0.
