Queen Silvia Attended Demonstration Against Gun Violence
The Swedish Queen attended the 'Det räcker' event in Stockholm, where around 13,000 people gathered to protest deadly gun violence.
Queen Silvia of Sweden attended the major event "Det räcker" ("Enough Is Enough") at the 3 Arena in Stockholm on Saturday, January 31. Approximately 13,000 people gathered to demonstrate against the deadly gun violence that has affected Sweden in recent years.

Among the participants were relatives of children and adults who have lost their lives in shootings in recent years. Representatives from the government, parliament, authorities, and civil society were also in attendance.

During the event, the Queen was presented with the "Adriana's Wings" award, which recognizes her longstanding efforts to strengthen children's right to safety and protection. The "Det räcker" initiative was launched by relatives of victims of deadly gun violence in Sweden.
