The day began at the Stockholm School of Economics, together with Minister for Education Lotta Edholm and Minister for EU Affairs Jessica Rosencrantz. President Lars Strannegård welcomed the guests and presented the school. The President then gave a speech to the students and answered their questions. Together with Minister for Energy and Business Ebba Busch, the President, the King and the Crown Princess couple visited KTH Royal Institute of Technology. President Anders Söderholm welcomed the guests in the school's reactor hall. There they listened to a discussion on how nuclear power, new technology and Swedish solutions can provide more secure energy in the future.

Lunch in the Prince's Gallery

As is customary during state visits, the City of Stockholm hosted a lunch at City Hall. The royal family and the presidential couple were welcomed by the Chair of the City Council, Olle Burell, and Financial Commissioner Emilia Bjuggren. Lunch was served in the Prince's Gallery.

Basketball and a music studio

In the afternoon the King and Queen and the presidential couple visited Fryshuset, an organisation that helps young people develop their interests and works against social exclusion. The visit focused among other things on helping young people leave criminal environments. The guests watched a dance performance, and the King stepped onto the basketball court.

The day ended at Spotify, where the King, the President and the Crown Princess couple listened to a discussion on start-ups and artificial intelligence. Finally they visited Spotify's music studio, where the artist Fanny Avone was recording.

The state visit ends on Wednesday. This year marks 60 years of diplomatic relations between Sweden and Singapore.
