The foundation Sex og samfunn has confirmed that they no longer want Crown Princess Mette-Marit as patron for the Skamløsprisen award.

The foundation states that consideration for their patients, all abuse victims, and everyone working to prevent sexual abuse has been decisive for this decision.
They also refer to the winners of the Skamløsprisen, emphasizing that it is out of consideration for them that they now wish to end the collaboration with the Crown Princess as patron for the award.
