Princely family celebrated New Year at the palace
Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene welcomed the new year with a reception at the Prince's Palace.
On January 1, 2026, the princely family of Monaco celebrated New Year with a traditional reception at the Prince's Palace in Monte Carlo. Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene hosted the event which gathered Monaco's leading citizens and international guests.
Hereditary Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella, who turned 11 on December 10, participated in parts of the New Year celebration and appeared before the public on the palace balcony at midnight. The twins have become increasingly visible in official contexts over the past year.
