Prince Albert and Princess Charlene hosted the screening of a newly restored version of the film of Grace Kelly and Prince Rainier III's 1956 wedding in the Courtyard of Honour at the Prince's Palace.

On Monday 20 July, Prince Albert and Princess Charlene hosted a very special film evening in the Courtyard of Honour at the Prince's Palace of Monaco. Around 450 guests watched a newly restored version of Jean Masson's 1956 film "Le Mariage de Monaco", the film about the wedding of Grace Kelly and Prince Rainier III.

The half-hour film originally ran in cinemas from 1956 to 1958 and contains footage from the wedding on April 19, 1956 that has never been shown before. The reels and raw footage were found in old boxes in the projection room that Princess Grace had set up inside the palace, and the film has now been restored in 4K.
