Prince Daniel Reopens Wij Manor in His Home Town of Ockelbo

Prince Daniel officially reopened the restored Wij Manor in Ockelbo. Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Oscar accompanied him to the Prince's home district.

Prince Daniel carried out the official reopening of Wij Manor in Ockelbo in Gästrikland. The historic estate has undergone extensive restoration work since September 2023.

The property is owned by FAM, an investment company controlled by the three largest Wallenberg foundations. FAM acquired Wij Manor with the aim of developing it further as a gathering place for the local community in Ockelbo.

Ockelbo is Prince Daniel's home district, and during the visit Prince Oscar also met his paternal grandparents.
