Crown Princess Victoria attended events in Rome to mark the centenary of the Swedish Institute and visited the tomb of Queen Christina at St Peter's Basilica.
Crown Princess Victoria attended events in Rome to mark the 100th anniversary of the Swedish Institute. On 7 May, she visited the Vatican to pay tribute to Queen Christina at her tomb in St Peter's Basilica.

The following day, she attended the institute's anniversary celebration. The Swedish Institute was founded in 1925 and serves as a hub for Swedish archaeological excavations and scientific activities in Italy, and as a research library.
