Crown Princess Victoria Opened New Consulate General and Visited NASA in Texas
Crown Princess Victoria inaugurated Sweden's new Consulate General in Houston, Texas. During the visit, she also toured NASA, where she spoke with Swedish-American astronaut Jessica Meir aboard the International Space Station.
Crown Princess Victoria inaugurated Sweden's new Consulate General in Houston, Texas. The consulate will promote cooperation in trade, investment and innovation. Texas is the world's eighth largest economy and the second largest US state, with approximately 16,000 Swedes currently living there.

During her days in Texas, the Crown Princess also visited NASA, the American space agency. At the Mission Control Center, she spoke with Swedish-American astronaut Jessica Meir, who is currently aboard the International Space Station (ISS).

The visit to Texas was carried out together with the Foreign Minister and a Swedish business delegation.
