Cold Response is one of the Norwegian Armed Forces' most important exercises, aiming to strengthen Norwegian and allied defence capability, contribute to security and demonstrate the ability to defend NATO's northern flank.

During the visit, the Crown Prince met soldiers in the field and gained a close insight into daily life during the exercise.
