King Carl Gustaf and Queen Silvia Pray for Peace in Ukraine

On the fourth anniversary of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, the Swedish Royal Court held an ecumenical prayer for peace at the Royal Chapel.

At the request of the King, an ecumenical prayer for peace in Ukraine was held today at the Royal Chapel at the Royal Palace in Stockholm.

On the fourth anniversary of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, the King and Queen, together with a large gathering of Ukrainians, prayed for peace in the country.

Priests from the Ukrainian Orthodox Church and the Ukrainian Catholic Mission in Stockholm, along with the pastor of the Royal Parish, jointly led the service. Choirs, instrumentalists and vocalists, the majority of whom were Ukrainian refugees, participated in the ceremony.
