King Carl Gustaf and Queen Silvia opened the annual classic vehicle exhibition at Solliden, joined by Crown Princess Victoria, Prince Oscar, Prince Carl Philip, Prince Nicolas and the dog Rio.

On Sunday 26 July, King Carl Gustaf and Queen Silvia opened the annual classic and enthusiast vehicle exhibition at Solliden Palace on Öland, a tradition that gathers up to 500 vehicles, from gleaming vintage cars to modern ones.

It became a rare family outing: joining the King and Queen were Crown Princess Victoria with the dog Rio, Prince Oscar, Prince Carl Philip, Prince Nicolas and Christopher O'Neill.

The King, well known for his passion for cars, studied the exhibition closely, capturing his favourites with his phone camera.
