King Charles Pulls a Pint at 250-Year-Old Brewery

King Charles and Queen Camilla visited the town of Blandford Forum in Dorset, where the family brewery Hall & Woodhouse is celebrating its 250th anniversary. The King even tried his hand behind the bar.
On Thursday 16 July, King Charles and Queen Camilla visited the market town of Blandford Forum in Dorset. Their first stop was the family brewery Hall & Woodhouse, known for its Badger ales, which is celebrating its 250th anniversary. The brewery was founded in 1777 and is run today by the seventh and eighth generations of the Woodhouse family.

During the visit, the royal couple unveiled a sign marking the brewery's 250th anniversary, and the King tried his hand as a bartender behind the pumps.

Queen Camilla wore a patterned dress by Fiona Clare, while the King had chosen a light summer suit with a tie and pocket square in lilac tones. The couple were also given a tour of the kitchen and met the brewery staff.
