The Crown Princess family out walking and at Pep Day

Crown Princess Victoria, Prince Daniel and Princess Estelle walked four kilometres through the Nacka nature reserve to mark Right of Public Access Day. The same day Prince Daniel was at Hagaparken for Pep Day, where the Crown Princess came by with Prince Oscar and the family dog Rio.
The Swedish Crown Princess couple had a busy Sunday on 20 September, with two events serving the same purpose: getting children and young people moving and out into nature.

• Four kilometres through the forest
Crown Princess Victoria, Prince Daniel and Princess Estelle marked Right of Public Access Day with a walk in the Nacka nature reserve. The route went from Hellasgården to the Kärrtorp sports ground, a distance of about four kilometres.

Representatives from Nacka municipality, Friluftsfrämjandet and Generation Pep took part in the walk.
The right of public access is a constitutionally protected freedom in Sweden that gives everyone the right to move about in and enjoy nature. The day is run by Generation Pep together with Svenskt Friluftsliv and its member organisations.

• Pep Day in Hagaparken
The same day Prince Daniel was at Hagaparken in Stockholm for Pep Day. The event aims to spread the joy of movement and knowledge about healthy habits to children and young people, and he handed out medals to those who completed Prince Daniel's Race.
Through the day the children were able to try sport, dance, play and outdoor activities. Crown Princess Victoria also came by to cheer on the participants, together with Prince Oscar and the family dog Rio.

Pep Day at Hagaparken is organised by Generation Pep together with the Royal Court, the City of Solna and AIK Friidrott.
