The Duchess of Edinburgh attended a reception on Tuesday evening at Coton House in Lusaka, the residence of the British High Commissioner to Zambia. The reception celebrated those creating opportunities through learning, and the Duchess met pupils from PEAS George Secondary School among others.

At the reception the Duchess met pupils from PEAS George Secondary School. PEAS is a British education organisation that runs schools in Zambia, Uganda and Ghana.

• Five days in Zambia
The visit runs from 14 to 19 September, and the themes are education, health, women's enterprise, conservation and culture.
Earlier the same day the Duchess met Zambian women using visual arts and theatre in their communities, and President Hakainde Hichilema and First Lady Mutinta Hichilema at Community House in Lusaka.
