King Charles Visits RAF Marham Fighter Base

The King saw the F-35B Lightning fighter jet up close and met aviators and their families at the Norfolk airbase.
On Tuesday 28 July, King Charles visited RAF Marham in Norfolk to learn about the capabilities of the F-35B Lightning fighter jet, and to meet serving aviators and their families.

The F-35B aircraft are managed jointly by the Royal Air Force and the Royal Navy, operating from both RAF Marham and the Queen Elizabeth-class aircraft carriers.

During the visit, the King also met members of the wider airbase community, including a group working on community support, resilience and climate change.
