Princess Anne and her husband Sir Tim Laurence attended King George Weekend at Ascot, where the Princess presented the trophy to the owners of winning horse Kalpana.
On Saturday 25 July, Princess Anne attended King George Weekend at Ascot Racecourse in Berkshire, one of the highlights of the British flat racing season. She was accompanied by her husband, Sir Tim Laurence.

The Princess presented the trophy to the owners of Kalpana, winner of the weekend's big highlight, the King George VI and Queen Elizabeth Stakes.

With her outfit, the Princess wore a gold brooch shaped like a horse, with diamonds set in its mane and tail, a piece that has been in her collection since the 1980s. Around her neck she wore the three-strand pearl necklace inherited from her mother, Queen Elizabeth II.
