King Charles and Queen Camilla led the traditional carriage procession on the first day of Royal Ascot, together with several members of the royal family.

The British royal family gathered for the first day of Royal Ascot at Ascot Racecourse. As tradition dictates, the royals arrived in a carriage procession ahead of the races.

Royal Ascot has been under royal patronage since Queen Anne founded the event in 1711, and became an official Royal Week in 1911. It remains a regular fixture in the royal family's summer calendar.
