During his visit to Tokyo, Crown Prince Haakon saw the journey Norwegian seafood takes from sea to plate, from the bustling Toyosu fish market to Japanese food culture.
Norwegian seafood has been a fixture on Japanese dinner tables for several decades. Japan is Norway's most important market for mackerel, and Norwegian salmon has long held a natural place in sushi and sashimi around the world.
During his visit to Tokyo, Crown Prince Haakon gained insight into the journey seafood takes from sea to plate, from the bustling Toyosu fish market to Japanese food culture at its best.
