The Prince of Wales visited 1st Battalion Mercian Regiment in Bulford, meeting soldiers and families following their recent deployment to Estonia.
The Prince of Wales on Thursday visited 1st Battalion Mercian Regiment at their base in Bulford. Prince William, wearing combat uniform, met soldiers and their families following the regiment's recent deployment to Estonia.

During the visit, the Prince heard directly from a female network within the regiment who shared their experiences of serving in the Armed Forces. The network provides female soldiers with a platform to discuss challenges and opportunities in the military.

The Prince also observed training exercises before presenting warrants to soldiers in the regiment, recognising their commitment and dedication.
