Camilla picked the best turned out horse, and it won the big race
Queen Camilla was at Ascot on Saturday, where the European flat racing season came to an end. She chose the best turned out horse in the field, Talk Of New York, and shortly afterwards it won the biggest race of the day. Zara Tindall was there too.
Queen Camilla was at Ascot on Saturday, where British Champions Day marked the end of the European flat racing season. It is the day when the best horses and riders meet, and it has been held since 2011.
Zara Tindall, Princess Anne's daughter, was also there. The two hugged and chatted.

The horse she picked won the big race
The Queen was asked to choose the best turned out horse in the field. It is a prize for the stable staff who have prepared the horse, and it is awarded before the race starts.
Her choice was Talk Of New York. Shortly afterwards that very horse won the Queen Elizabeth II Stakes, the biggest race of the day, with William Buick in the saddle.
Camilla was all smiles as Buick received his trophy.

The first woman to win a Classic
Among those she met was Saffie Osborne. Last month she became the first woman to ride the winner of a British Classic, one of the five biggest flat races in Britain.
Osborne said meeting the Queen was a real honour.
"It's amazing to have her here. It's quite clear how much she loves British racing and this is one of the best days' racing in the world so to have her support and for her to be here is a real honour for all of us," she said.
She added: "On a personal note, I think my granny will be over the moon that I've met her. She loves the royal family, as do we all."

The 14-year-old who won the pony race
The Queen also met Camilla Froggatt, 14, who won the pony race that day. She took time to congratulate the young rider.
The King and Queen have taken on Queen Elizabeth's role
King Charles and Queen Camilla have taken over the role the late Queen Elizabeth held as racing's most visible supporters.
They have kept her horses in training and still run them, and have become keen owners themselves.
Andrew Parker Bowles, Camilla's former husband, was also in the royal box.
