Queen Máxima attended a symposium on appropriate care in the Dutch healthcare system on Thursday. She opened the Ask Anything market, where healthcare professionals exchange expertise for their own Less is More projects, and then took part in a workshop on changing practice.
Queen Máxima of the Netherlands attended a symposium held by the national Appropriate Care and Care Evaluation Programme, known as ZE&GG, on Thursday 10 September. The symposium took place at Green Village in Nieuwegein, in the province of Utrecht.

Less is More is a movement working for appropriate care in the Dutch healthcare system. The idea is that fewer and better targeted measures can give better treatment than more of them.

• Opened the Ask Anything market
The Queen attended the opening of the Ask Anything market, where healthcare professionals can obtain and exchange information and expertise for their own Less is More projects.

• About Queen Máxima
Máxima was born in Buenos Aires in 1971 and married Crown Prince Willem-Alexander in 2002. She became queen on 30 April 2013, when her mother-in-law Queen Beatrix abdicated. Since 2009 she has served as the UN Secretary-General's Special Advocate for Inclusive Finance for Development.
