Crown Princess Victoria has landed in Oslo ahead of the funeral

Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden landed at Oslo Airport on Wednesday morning, after being stranded by volcanic ash on Lombok and having to travel via Bali. Zelenskyy, King Felipe, Prince Albert and a number of other royals and heads of state arrived in Oslo over the past day.
Foreign royals, heads of state and senior politicians have poured into Oslo over the past day. The funeral of King Harald V will be held in Oslo Cathedral at 1pm on Wednesday.

• Victoria travelled home via Bali
Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden landed at Oslo Airport on Wednesday morning. She had been travelling in Indonesia for the United Nations Development Programme, UNDP, and had to find a new route home in order to arrive in time.
She was first stranded on Lombok by volcanic ash, with several airports closed. She then travelled on to Bali to get back to Europe.
• Zelenskyy landed the evening before

• Prince Albert and the Danes arrived late at night

Just after midnight Queen Mary and Crown Prince Christian of Denmark appeared beside the Danish royal ship, to cheers from the Norwegians who had gathered. The Queen waved to the photographers, and the Crown Prince went aboard smiling.
• The Spanish royals went on to the Palace
At around 5.45pm on Tuesday a plane from Madrid landed at the private aviation terminal at Gardermoen, and King Felipe stepped out into pouring rain. The Spanish Royal House confirmed on Friday last week that the King, Queen Letizia and his mother Queen Sofía would attend the funeral.
Shortly before 7pm they arrived at the Grand Hotel, and half an hour later they went on to the Palace. With them were Prince Alois and Princess Sophie of Liechtenstein, and Prince Nikolaos and Queen Anne-Marie, among others. The coach returned to the hotel at around 10.15pm.
• The Greeks without an official role
Princess Alexia of Greece and Denmark arrived at the hotel shortly before 4.30pm with her husband Carlos Morales Quintana. She is the daughter of King Constantine II of Greece, a third cousin of King Harald, and the Royal House has previously described the relationship between them as close.
A little later her mother, Queen Anne-Marie, arrived together with her son Prince Nikolaos.
The monarchy in Greece was abolished in 1974. Neither Queen Anne-Marie, Princess Alexia nor Prince Nikolaos holds any official royal role in Greece today.
• Japan, Jordan and Saudi Arabia
At 6.48pm Crown Prince Akishino and Crown Princess Kiko of Japan arrived at the hotel. They came by black car rather than in one of the coaches the other guests have used.
Shortly before 8.30pm King Abdullah II of Jordan and Queen Rania arrived. At around 10.30pm came Saudi Arabia's Prince Turki bin Mohammed Al Saud.
• Among the first
Crown Prince Alexander and Crown Princess Katherine of Serbia were among those who arrived at the hotel on Tuesday morning, walking in on a red carpet.
Rosario Nadal arrived around 11am. Known as Princess of Preslav in Bulgaria, she is a close friend of Queen Mette-Marit and a godmother to Prince Sverre Magnus.
Thailand's Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul arrived in Norway at around 9am on Tuesday. The first international participant had already arrived late on Monday evening: Christophe Pierre, a cardinal of the Vatican, who is representing the Pope at the funeral.
Greek President Konstantinos Tasoulas arrived at Gardermoen by private plane on Tuesday afternoon, and former Swiss president Viola Amherd also came to Norway.
• Tighter security and cancelled flights
The streets beside the Grand Hotel are closed off, the main entrance is locked and guarded by armed police, and security checks with baggage scanning and metal detectors have been set up on both sides of the hotel. Both the police and the security service PST are present in the streets.
Around 40 flight movements have been cancelled at Oslo Airport on Wednesday, spread across the morning and the afternoon. Affected passengers have been contacted directly by their airlines, says Avinor communications adviser Camilla Haugen Walla.
