The Princess was received by Rector Ragnhild Hennum, Dean Anne Julie Semb and student parliament leader Anna Bergum Furset. The welcome was the only official element, from now on she is an entirely ordinary student.

Ingrid Alexandra is pursuing a bachelor's degree in social sciences with a focus on international relations and political economy. She began the three-year programme at the University of Sydney in autumn 2025, and is now studying in Oslo as an exchange student. The move home comes as the Princess wishes to be close to her family after Crown Princess Mette-Marit underwent a lung transplant in June.
