King Charles III and Queen Camilla hosted the annual Garden Party at the Palace of Holyroodhouse in Edinburgh, welcoming over 8,000 guests from across Scotland.
King Charles III and Queen Camilla hosted the annual Garden Party at the Palace of Holyroodhouse in Edinburgh. The event is a fixed part of what is known as Holyrood Week, the week when the Royal Family gathers in Scotland each year.

The royal couple, together with the Duke of Edinburgh and Princess Anne, welcomed more than 8,000 guests from across Scotland. The long-standing garden party dates all the way back to the reign of King George V and Queen Mary.

The royal couple and the other royals spent time with guests from Scottish charities, community organisations, local businesses and public service workers, all of whom make a difference across the nation.

Guests enjoyed tea, sandwiches and the famous Palace cake while mingling in the historic gardens.
