Queen Máxima completed the first phase of her reservist training at the Royal Military Academy (KMA) in Breda, receiving her military beret with the General Staff insignia.

Queen Máxima completed the first phase of her military reservist training at the Royal Military Academy (KMA) in Breda, and was presented with her beret during a ceremony at the academy.

Máxima serves as a reservist attached to the Royal Military House. She will not be assigned to a specific unit, but will fulfil a broad and general role within the Royal Netherlands Army. Her beret therefore carries the insignia of the General Staff, a lion on a red background.
