During the visit, the King met RSC Co-Artistic Directors Daniel Evans and Tamara Harvey, as well as members of the theatre's in-house costume department.

He also met the cast and creative team behind The Tempest, including director Richard Eyre and actor Kenneth Branagh, who plays the role of Prospero.
