Queen Camilla visited the Fan Museum in London to open the Monarchy exhibition, showcasing around 80 fans spanning three centuries of royal heritage.
Queen Camilla visited the Fan Museum in London to open the Monarchy exhibition. The Duchess of Gloucester accompanied her, in her role as a Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Fan Makers.

The exhibition showcases around 80 fans spanning three centuries of royal heritage, including two pieces from the Queen's own collection.

A highlight of the visit was when the Queen received the fan featured in her official Coronation portrait, painted by artist Paul Benney, who attended the event.

The Worshipful Company of Fan Makers had commissioned the fan to commemorate the Coronation, and Paul Benney incorporated it into his portrait of Her Majesty. Master of the Livery Dinesh Naidu formally presented the fan to the Queen.
