Prince William visited the River Bain Hydro scheme in Bainbridge, a community-led project generating renewable energy for 30 local homes.

The dam uses the natural flow of England's shortest river to produce electricity, and is expected to save over 3,000 tonnes of CO₂ over its lifetime. The project supports local energy independence while working in harmony with the landscape.
