State Dinner at the White House for King Charles and Queen Camilla

On the evening of 28 April, King Charles and Queen Camilla were guests at a state dinner at the White House, hosted by President Trump and First Lady Melania in honour of the British Royal Couple.
King Charles III and Queen Camilla are on their first state visit to the United States to mark the 250th anniversary of American independence. On the evening of 28 April, the Presidential Couple, Donald and Melania Trump, hosted a state dinner in honour of the British Royal Couple in the East Room of the White House in Washington.

For the occasion, Queen Camilla wore a long-sleeved pink evening gown by Fiona Clare. She also wore the Kent Amethyst Parure jewellery set and the Queen Mother's Art Deco Cartier diamond bracelet. The Kent Amethyst Parure is one of the oldest heirlooms in the royal vaults and originates from Queen Victoria's mother, the Duchess of Kent.

For her part, First Lady Melania Trump chose a pale pink gown by Dior for the ceremonial dinner.
