The Royal Couple Attend Dinner at the White House

King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima attended a dinner at the White House at the invitation of President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump, as part of their working visit to the United States.
King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima are on a working visit to the United States from 13 to 15 April 2026, visiting Philadelphia in Pennsylvania, Washington D.C. and Miami in Florida.
On the evening of 13 April, the King and Queen attended a dinner at the White House in Washington at the invitation of President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump. The Royal Couple also stayed overnight at the White House. Prime Minister Jetten also attended the dinner.

Queen Máxima wore a new orange dress designed by Claes Iversen for the occasion.

Prior to the dinner, a networking reception was held in Washington with representatives from Dutch and American companies, cultural institutions and US government officials.
