King Charles led the investiture ceremony at Windsor Castle, where several prominent Britons were honoured for their contributions to drama, heritage, sport and charity.
King Charles on Tuesday led the investiture ceremony at Windsor Castle, where a number of prominent Britons received honours for their contributions across various fields.
Among the recipients was actress Carey Mulligan, who was appointed CBE for Services to Drama. Jeffrey Edwards received an OBE for Services to Survivors of Disasters, to Charity and to the community in Aberfan.

Hilary McGrady, Director General of the National Trust, was appointed CBE for Services to Heritage. Katharine Staples received an MBE for Services to the Promotion of Sport and Fitness.

Louise Fetigan was awarded an MBE for Services to Young People, while Valerie Lolomari received an MBE for Services to the Prevention of Violence Against Women and Girls.
