Royal Family gathered for Christmas at Sandringham
King Charles and Queen Camilla celebrated Christmas at Sandringham with the entire extended royal family.
King Charles and Queen Camilla attended Christmas Day service at St. Mary Magdalene Church at Sandringham, along with the Prince and Princess of Wales and other members of the royal family.
After the service, the King, Queen, Prince William, his wife Catherine and their three children took time to greet the enthusiastic crowds who had been waiting outside on the cold Christmas morning.

Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, formerly Prince Andrew, was not present, but his daughters Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie were there with their husbands. Princess Anne and her daughter Zara Tindall with family also attended, as did the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh.
People from across Britain, Europe and the USA queued from 9 PM on Christmas Eve to see the royal family on Christmas Day. Just before 11 AM, the royal family arrived outside the church and were greeted by Reverend Canon Dr Paul Rhys Williams.

Three of the youngest royals – Prince George, Princess Charlotte and little brother Prince Louis – took time to greet the public on their own. The children received Christmas cards, toys, flowers and chocolates from those present, chatted with them and shook hands.
Catherine had in-depth conversations with many individuals while holding bouquets of flowers that were given to her. The royal family spends Christmas at the Sandringham Estate, which has been the traditional Christmas gathering place for the family since 1988.

The King's Christmas message, which was filmed in Westminster Abbey, was broadcast later in the day and called for unity in an increasingly divided world. He said we must never lose sight of the values that communities came together around in the face of great challenges.
On Christmas Eve, Catherine and Princess Charlotte's pre-recorded piano duet from Windsor Castle was broadcast on TV as part of Catherine's Christmas concert.
