King Philippe and Queen Mathilde hosted a concert at the National Museum in honour of King Harald and Queen Sonja. Queen Sonja guided the guests through the museum's exhibitions, including past Edvard Munch's famous "The Scream".

On Wednesday evening, King Philippe and Queen Mathilde of Belgium hosted a concert at the National Museum in Oslo in honour of King Harald and Queen Sonja, as a thank you for their hospitality during the state visit to Norway. Crown Prince Haakon was also present at the event.

Before the concert, Queen Sonja guided King Philippe and Queen Mathilde through the museum's galleries, where they toured the exhibitions. One of the highlights was Edvard Munch's world-famous painting "The Scream".

At the concert, musicians from the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel, Valère Burnon, Stéphanie Huang and Emmanuel Coppey, performed several pieces, including "Norwegian Legend" by Eugène Ysaÿe, the renowned Belgian composer and violinist of the early 20th century.

For the occasion, Queen Mathilde wore a midnight blue silk velvet dress by Dior.
