King Charles and Queen Camilla spent the day in Cornwall, meeting the local community in St Austell and officially opening the new marble run at the Eden Project.

King Charles and Queen Camilla were in Cornwall on Tuesday, spending the day with the local community in St Austell. Their Majesties met local community groups and businesses inside the Holy Trinity Church and Market Hall.

The Queen spoke to schoolchildren, library staff and volunteers from St Austell Library, while the King met local groups inside the church.

Earlier in the day, Their Majesties officially opened the new marble run at Eden Project Cornwall. They heard about wildflower habitat restoration from staff and gardeners on site, before joining a celebratory Big Lunch with local volunteers and supporters.
