Prince William Visits the Francis Crick Institute

Prince William visited the renowned Francis Crick Institute in London ahead of its 10th anniversary, gaining insight into the fascinating research taking place at the institute.

The Prince met Professor Andreas Schaefer to learn about the cellular mechanisms of sensory processing in the brain. He also spoke with psychiatrist and neuroscientist Dr Katharina Schmack about her work studying the biological basis of psychosis.

William also visited the Electron Microscopy facility, where he joined Dr Maximiliano Gutierrez and Principal Lab Research Scientist Tony Fearns to hear about their research investigating the biology of tuberculosis and how antibiotics work.
