William and Kate Back at the BAFTAs Together for the First Time in Three Years

The Prince and Princess of Wales attended the BAFTA ceremony at the Royal Festival Hall in London. It is the first time the couple have attended the awards show together since 2023.

The Prince and Princess of Wales attended the annual BAFTA ceremony at the Royal Festival Hall in London on Sunday, February 22. It marks the first time the couple have attended the awards show together in three years. They last walked the BAFTA red carpet together in 2023.

William wore a burgundy velvet jacket, while Kate was dressed in a floor-length pink gown. The couple were not in attendance together last year. William attended alone in 2024, expressing his regret that his wife could not join him as she was undergoing cancer treatment.

Prince William attended in his capacity as President of the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) and presented the BAFTA Fellowship Award to Dame Donna Langley, Chair of NBCUniversal Entertainment, who was recognised for her outstanding contribution to film. The ceremony was hosted by Scottish actor Alan Cumming.

Arts charity BAFTA supports the growth of creative talent in the UK and internationally. Since 2021, Prince William has also been involved with the Prince William BAFTA Bursary, which helps young people from underrepresented groups to progress their careers in film, games and television.
