Princess Amalia Completes Her Assignment with the Air Force

Crown Princess Amalia has completed her period as a military working student with the Royal Netherlands Air Force. After the summer holiday she will continue with the Navy.
Crown Princess Amalia has completed her period as a military working student with the Royal Netherlands Air Force. After the summer holiday she will continue her training with the Royal Netherlands Navy, as the next part of the Defensity College programme.

Through Defensity College, university and college students are given meaningful part-time employment in the armed forces alongside their studies, while strengthening the connection between the armed forces and society. The Princess previously served as a working student with the Defence Staff and completed the General Military Training programme.

During her time with the Air Force, the Princess gained practical experience from several parts of the service, including exercises with transport helicopters.
