Princess Ingrid Alexandra and Prince Sverre Magnus celebrated in the stands as Norway beat Brazil 2-1 in the World Cup round of 16.
Norway beat Brazil 2-1 in the World Cup round of 16 on Sunday 5 July, and in the stands at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, Princess Ingrid Alexandra and Prince Sverre Magnus celebrated the historic victory.

Before the match, the siblings told VG how much they were looking forward to it. "We are really excited", said Princess Ingrid Alexandra, stressing how proud they were of how far the team had come, whatever the result. Prince Sverre Magnus noted that Brazil is one of the world's greatest footballing nations, and was excited to see what Norway could achieve.

The siblings shared the stands with Brazilian football legend Ronaldo Nazário, who won the World Cup with Brazil in both 1994 and 2002.

"It is incredible how much football can bring people together", said the Princess, who also said that the family at home was following the match closely.

With the win, Norway are through to the quarter-finals in their first World Cup in 28 years.
