Queen Sonja Visited Young Design Talents at Spireverket

Queen Sonja was impressed after meeting young adults working at Spireverket outside Sofienberg Church in Oslo, where she also tested her sawing skills.

Queen Sonja visited Spireverket outside Sofienberg Church in Oslo and was impressed by the young adults working there.

"This is impressive and wonderful," the Queen said after meeting the young workers.

Spireverket is a workplace and work training arena for young adults with a focus on practical work, craftsmanship and design. In collaboration with the Sofienberg Project, they are developing the site into an open meeting place for and with children, young people and the neighbourhood.

The Queen received a tour of the site and also tested her sawing skills.
