Queen Maxima opened the renovated boulevard in Scheveningen, one of the Netherlands' most famous and visited coastal promenades. The renovation provides more space for pedestrians and a better connection between beach, sea and city.

Queen Maxima on Thursday opened the renovated boulevard in Scheveningen, which for decades has been one of the Netherlands' most famous and visited coastal promenades. The boulevard has undergone an extensive renewal in recent years to better accommodate the growing number of visitors and be ready for the future.

The renovation has provided more space for pedestrians and created a better connection between beach, sea and city. The Queen was given a tour along the boulevard and spoke with entrepreneurs and other parties involved in the renovation.
